The Dinosaur Trail is a 48-km circular trail that runs through Drumheller and the Bleriot Ferry, and parallel to the Red Deer River. If you’re travelling this route for the first time, but things seem a little familiar, don’t be surprised. Drumheller and surrounding areas have been the site of over 75 films, television productions, and commercials. The hoodoos, which date back to about 70-75 million years ago, make quite the backdrop.
