Nothing like a brisk winter jog to get your blood flowing! Warm up with the Annual Hypothermic Half Marathon, which takes place in cities across Canada from January to March, landing in Lethbridge this week. Feb. 27

THE LITTLE PRINCE: THE MUSICAL (Calgary)

KOBA’S GREAT BIG SHOW (Lethbridge)
If your little ones are obsessed with Treehouse, make their day by taking them to Koba’s Great Big Show, a touring stage spectacle featuring characters from the kids’ TV channel’s top shows that lands in Lethbridge this week. GRAHAM PEACOCK: TOPOGRAPHIES (Edmonton)

FAT BIKE GROUP RIDES (Canmore)

CYPRESS HILLS FROZEN FESCUE LOPPET
No doubt the most delightfully named event this week, this annual cross-country ski race in Cypress Hills is entering into its third year. All ages and abilities are welcome, so register now to take part in the race—you can choose from a 7.5 km “family loop,” the regular 17.5 loop, or an 800-metre kids loop. SUNDAY SWING ‘N’ SKATE DRESS (Edmonton)
Don your finest outerwear and head to Edmonton’s City Hall to boogie down at this free event that takes place on Sundays from 1-4 p.m. Inside, the Sugar Swing Dance Club will teach you the hottest swing steps, with local jazz bands providing live accompaniment. The music is piped outside, too, so you can try your moves on the ice, with free skate rentals available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To Feb. 28

PASTRY CHEF SHOWCASE (Calgary)
