Family Fun in B.C.’s South Okanagan

By Jennifer Cockrall-King

Wining and dining are among the most popular pastimes when travelling in British Columbia’s South Okanagan, but kids can fill up on fun too! Check out this pair of places for youthful diversions.

ANDY’S ANIMAL ACRES
Kids of all ages will want to meet Dudley the Pig at this quirky Penticton petting farm. The resident porker is also a movie star; he’s featured in the upcoming indie film The Orchard.

SUN N’ SUP
The hub of the area’s stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking community, Sun n’ Sup is located in the heart of Naramata Village, just steps from both Wharf Park and Manitou Beach. You can take a lesson or rent equipment for the day.
