ROAD TEST READY
She can’t be your baby forever. Your teen’s been driving with a Class 5-GDL licence for more than two years, she’s infraction-free and has taken driver education: It’s time for her to level up by taking the advanced road test. Now she can book that test—conducted by an independent, government-accredited driver examiner—online, by phone and at most AMA centres. Experienced drivers can also book the Class 6 motorcycle and Class 4 professional licence tests through AMA.

Batteries tend to go bye-bye in winter—especially if they’re three years old or older. Heed the warning signs, like headlights dimming when you come to a stop, or an engine that’s slow to turn over, and call AMA for a CAA Battery Service* test. If you need a new one, we’ll give you a member-exclusive price on a CAA Premium Battery and install it for free.

MEMBER STORY: LOVE LETTERS
Iris Arzt loves shoes. “I own about 70 pairs. The only place I’m not wearing high heels is at the gym and grocery store,” she says. Hence her personalized licence plate: HYHEELZ. When she went to get it, she was surprised how many shoe-related plates had already been claimed. But AMA Registries staff helped Arzt find the perfect phrase to reflect her personality. “Once I told my friends what I’d chosen, they all said, ‘Of course, that’s so you!’” A personalized plate is a fun way to display your individuality. Visit an AMA centre to register for one, or choose a veteran or Support Our Troops plate to show your appreciation for Canada’s armed forces.
