The 29th rendition of the East Coulee School Museum Spring Fest is taking over the Drumheller Valley from May 3-4. With a lineup of over 30 performers, three stages and two venues, the festival is open to all ages and proceeds go to supporting the school museum—a Provincial Historical Resource. Calling all film buffs: The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra is putting on a special concert on May 4, featuring the music of composer John Williams. Known as the musical mastermind behind soundtracks from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List and more, Williams is responsible for creating some of the most iconic film soundtracks of our time. Backed by the spectacular orchestra of the Red Deer Symphony, step into the soundtrack of your favourite film. Curtains rise at 7:30 p.m.
