CAA magazines across Canada, including AMA Insider, were recently voted top travel magazine in TripAdvisor’s 2016 Travellers’ Choice Awards! The awards are determined via surveying the TripAdvisor.com community. Since the awards’ inception in 2013, National Geographic has taken the top spot, so this is a huge honour for AMA. CAA’s TourBooks also earned first place for best guidebook—an honour previously bestowed upon the formidable Lonely Planet guidebooks.

With AMA Bike Assist you can use any of your annual service calls to get help if your bicycle breaks down while you’re riding. We’ll deliver air for flats, adjust chains and tighten loose handlebars. If we can’t fix it on the spot, we’ll transport your bike home or to a repair shop.

Did you know AMA builds tow trucks for our Road-side Assistance fleet plus other commercial truck operations? We recently designed new parkade trucks to service the growing number of malls, condos and businesses in Alberta. The trucks easily slip in and out of parkades with clearances of just 5’11”. That means we can now get in and get vehicles out of tight spots faster—and you can rest assured that AMA is constantly innovating to better serve our members.

As we get older, it’s important to be aware of physiological changes that can affect our safety behind the wheel. AMA’s confidential Seniors In-vehicle Evaluation can help. Trained AMA instructors assess driving skills during a 45 minute on road drive.
